Job summary

Merion Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across its communities. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and resident satisfaction.

You will follow standardized diagnostic approaches, participate in on-call rotation, train junior technicians, and inspect units and common areas. EPA certification is required with ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance or construction experience.
• 1+ years as a full-charge maintenance technician preferred.
• EPA Certification – Type I & Type II (Universal preferred).
• High school diploma/GED and apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Assist in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Inspect vacant units and turnover processes.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal; remove debris.
• Complete service requests accurately and timely.
