Job summary

Tru Vue Inc. in Faribault, MN is hiring Maintenance Technician I across multiple shifts. This entry-level role supports the maintenance team with preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting and general tasks while learning from experienced technicians.

Pay ranges $24.01-$27.00 per hour, plus shift premiums on certain shifts. First shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, second shift 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (+$1.00/hr), third shift 10:00 PM–6:30 AM (+$1.50/hr).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and develop new maintenance skills.
• Commitment to working safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing/maintenance, automotive, construction or related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced maintenance technicians with preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
• Support equipment repairs and troubleshooting.

• Sandblast, clean, and prepare parts and equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Learn new maintenance skills and techniques through hands-on training and direction from experienced technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Opportunity

Tru Vue is hiring multiple Maintenance Technician I team members in Faribault, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical knowledge or hands on experience who wants to build their skills and grow into a career in industrial maintenance.As a Maintenance Technician I, you will support the maintenance team with preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and general maintenance tasks while learning from experienced technicians.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift : Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM-Pay- $24.01 to $27.00/hr
• 2nd Shift : Monday -Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM -Pay- $24.01 to $27.00/hr + $1.00/hr shift premium
• 3rd Shift : Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM-Pay- $24.01 to $27.00/hr + $1.50/hour shift premium

What You'll Do

Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing environment and regularly interacts with employees throughout the plant. The role involves working around moving mechanical equipment and machinery. The production environment can be loud, and appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
