Job summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a Maintenance I – C to support manufacturing by performing routine and repetitive maintenance during non-downtime periods. The role emphasizes hands-on work with mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while learning from experienced team members.

You will perform pre-planned maintenance, assist with equipment installations, and contribute to a safe, efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Completion of the Standard Timing Model mechanical assessment.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-planned corrective and preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
• Assemble and verify applicable fixtures and tooling.
• Assist in installation, modification, and relocation of equipment.
• Develop and expand skills by learning from more experienced maintenance team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
