Job summary

WT Burnett Nonwovens seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and improve mechanical and electrical systems in our NC manufacturing facility. This role emphasizes uptime, safety, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, plus experience with CMMS and blueprints. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts, including nights and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems (up to 480V), motors, VFDs, and PLCs.
• Experience using CMMS to manage work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Welding, fabrication, and machining experience is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in heat, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
