Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Grand Rapids is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on machine repairs, preventive/predictive maintenance, and fabrication projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor through CMMS.

The candidate should have 3+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience, ability to read blueprints, and comfortable working with machining tools. Position includes various shifts and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned equipment PM activities as scheduled by CMMS.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform machining operations using lathe, mill, drill press, and bandsaws.
• Perform fabrication projects using welding and bolted assembly.
• Enter work activity into CMMS accurately.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping in maintenance shop.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
