Job summary

Paycom in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Engineering department. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, installation, and repair of machinery and electrical systems in an industrial setting.

The Maintenance Technician will diagnose issues from test results and operator feedback, perform disassembly and reassembly of equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This seasonal, non-exempt position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance per standards.
• Diagnose equipment using test results and operator input.
• Disassemble machinery to replace parts and repair.
• Inspect parts for wear and defects; perform repairs as needed.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed.
