Job summary

Resource MFG in Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for the morning shift (7am-3:30pm). The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to keep industrial equipment running at peak performance.

You will analyze test results, read blueprints and manuals, adjust and replace worn parts, and document repairs and materials used. Prior maintenance experience is required; competitive hourly pay and an unlimited referral bonus are offered.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain preventive maintenance program to existing standards to ensure compliance.
• Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment, including disassembly and reassembly as needed.
• Inspect parts for defects and wear; observe equipment operation to diagnose malfunctions.
• Record parts used and repairs performed; requisition new parts as necessary.

Morning Shift 7am-3:30pm

Pay $22.00 – $25.00

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain preventive maintenance program to existing standards to ensure compliance.


• Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.


• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.


• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.


• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.


• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.


• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.


• Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.


• Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery, equipment and certain tooling.


• Study blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.


• Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.


• Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.


• Record parts and materials used, and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary.


• Record repairs and maintenance performed.
