Engine Power Components seeks a skilled Machine Repair Journeyman / Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Grand Haven, MI. The role centers on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and performing machine alignments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, grinders, machining centers, conveyors, and other production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and power transmission systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and restore machines to safe operating condition while minimizing production downtime.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Disassemble, repair, rebuild, and reassemble production machinery and equipment.
• Install, align, adjust, and maintain bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors, and other components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders within the maintenance system.
