Scotia Village, a division of Kintura, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our care-focused team in Laurinburg, NC. You will maintain tools and equipment, prioritize daily work orders, and perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, HVAC, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operations for residents.

Applicants should have two or more years of maintenance experience, knowledge of boilers, compressors, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Two or more years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, and air conditioning, as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Working knowledge of boilers & hot water heaters.
• Can work independently or with a team.

Responsabilités

• Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition on a daily basis.
• Be responsible for prioritizing daily work.
• Respond to work order requests and radio calls in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as pumps, engines, motors, air conditioning system, refrigeration system and so forth by repairing or replacing defective parts.
• Install limited plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical devices, refrigeration, air conditioning and other equipment.
• Adjust, with electrical meters and other test equipment, functional parts of motors and control instruments.
• Clean and lubricate parts.
• Test equipment performance and record readings.
