Job Title: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Location: Woodlea Oaks Apartments, Taylors SC 29687

Overview: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance.

We will also fully service the maintenance operations at our communities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintenance management, project management, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Install new HVAC systems and components according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, HVAC, low voltage, plumbing, etc.
• Repair HVAC equipment, including refrigeration units, boilers, and plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand system designs.
• Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues or potential improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
