Drury Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to maintain a safe, inviting Overland Park hotel experience. You will handle a range of repairs from plumbing and electrical to HVAC, ensuring consistent, high-quality service for guests and team members.

The role emphasizes safety programs, record-keeping, and training junior technicians, with a welcoming, service-focused culture across our properties.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge for hotel properties.
• Ability to train Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, testing, filtration and mechanical ops.
• Experience developing and monitoring safety/compliance programs.
• Building maintenance including minor electrical and plumbing repair.
• Ability to speak and write in English.
• Flexibility for emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, smooth-running hotel property and grounds.
• Provide exceptional service to guests and team members.
• Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, carpentry, painting, HVAC.
• Develop and monitor safety, ergonomic and injury-prevention programs.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit, interview, and schedule department needs.
• Deliver courteous, friendly service with a +1 Service attitude.
