Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and equivalent experience.
• 0 - 3 Years experience in Industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, and/or Equivalent Military Experience.
• Beginner proficiency in Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electrical, Welding and Rigging.
• Commitment to Continuous Learning to achieve increasing levels of expertise.
• Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine inspections.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• May assist in managing the machines’ performance by doing equipment set up and production changeovers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner; maintain work records and reports.
• Follow safety standards and quality protocols to ensure production exceeds standards.
• Collaborate with production associates to solve reliability and urgency issues.
• Report unusual, inefficient, or dangerous mechanical and electrical situations.
• Observe safety precautions as required by Perdue when handling chemicals, dust, and hazards.
• Work all required work schedules; day travel to nearby locations may be required.
