Job summary

Ayres Lodging Collective is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance, light construction, and general property upkeep across East Tennessee properties. You will operate heavy machinery and complete repairs to keep facilities safe and functional.

Requirements include at least 2 years in maintenance or a related trade, ability to work with decking, flooring, drywall, and concrete, and comfort with basic plumbing/electrical tasks. 18+ and HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven experience in maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade.
• Experience with decking, flooring, drywall, and concrete is required.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and use hand/power tools safely.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance systems including plumbing and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance and light construction across properties and grounds.
• Operate loaders, skid steers, or similar equipment safely.
• Repair decking, flooring, drywall, and concrete; manage small renovation tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs.
• Read work orders and ensure quality and safety standards.
