Job summary

Virnig Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and minimize downtime on production equipment in Minnesota. You will work with production teams, conduct safety inspections, and assist with equipment upgrades or installations, contributing to safe, efficient and continuous operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance knowledge and experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance software and reporting.
• Willingness to work shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on facility systems and large machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Record repair and maintenance information in spreadsheets and graphs.
• Conduct daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly safety inspections.
• Assist with new equipment installations and shop setup.
