Acento Real Estate Partners LLC is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to join our on-site team in the Washington, DC area. You will perform basic maintenance tasks, assist with repairs, and learn through hands-on experience in multifamily properties.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of maintenance exposure, basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry, and a valid driver’s license. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and teamwork mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC or EPA basic knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks including painting, minor plumbing, and electrical work.
• Conduct routine inspections of common areas and apartments to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with furniture setup, seasonal maintenance, and make-ready tasks.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with senior technicians on more complex repair projects and preventive maintenance.
