Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Maintenance Associate in Manteno, IL to repair and maintain industrial machinery, motors, conveyors and production equipment. The role requires basic electrical knowledge, use of a multimeter, and adherence to PMs.

The position offers training on a 6:30am-3:30pm schedule (Mon-Fri) with after-training options of 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am on a 2-2-3 rotation. Compensation is $30.00-$32.40 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent on the job training.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced arithmetic skills

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Dismantles devices to access and remove defective parts.
• Reads basic wiring diagrams and uses multimeters.
• Repairs electrical equipment and basic circuits.
• Lubricates and cleans parts and performs basic preventive maintenance.
