Job summary

Simpson is seeking a Full Time General Maintenance Mechanic at Jenners Pond, West Grove, PA 19390. The role focuses on keeping buildings and grounds in good condition for residents and visitors. Painting skills are preferred. Work is performed Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm, with safety procedures and resident care in mind.

Required are a High School diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license; healthcare maintenance experience is preferred. Apply to join our experienced facilities team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or High School Equivalent required.
• Technical Training degree or certification preferred.
• Two years mechanical maintenance experience in Health Care setting preferred.
• Clean and valid Driver's License required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Background and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on building materials including doors, locks, windows, roof, siding, carpet, drywall, vinyl floors, etc.
• Patch and paint walls after damage or move-out.
• Maintain plumbing components such as toilets, faucets, showers, drains.
• Perform light electrical work and ensure safety around residents.
• Complete Work Orders accurately for time and billing.
