Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee the ongoing upkeep of all equipment and to implement new machinery. The role is in a shop setting with possible temperatures over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, selecting parts for repairs, installing and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, and performing preventive maintenance. A high school diploma and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years facility maintenance experience.
• 1+ years electrical experience with certification.
• 1+ years plumbing experience with certification.
• 1+ years welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment.
• Determine materials and parts for repair, installation and stock.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical systems.
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Complete documentation per company guidelines.
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools.
• Comply with all safety rules and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
