Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot, support and repair all production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation of mechanical, electrical and related systems.

This full-time role offers a pay range of $20.00–$30.00 per hour DOE, plus shift differential, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) match.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment
• Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment
• Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools Must comply with all company safety rules and policies
• Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit
