Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Lynwood, CA is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support and repair production equipment, select materials, and maintain essential systems across the plant. You will participate in preventive maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and document activities in accordance with company guidelines.

The role requires 5+ years of facility maintenance experience, strong technical aptitude, and a safety-conscious mindset to operate in a high-temperature

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance.
• Experience with shop environments and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment.
• Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments.
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant.
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines.
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools.
• Must comply with all company safety rules and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
