Job summary

OPW Fueling Components, LLC in Smithfield, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repair industrial equipment, with emphasis on mechanical systems and foundational electrical troubleshooting. You will service CNC machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and safety devices while maintaining documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years in industrial maintenance and basic electrical skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
1–3 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Basic electrical troubleshooting and ability to read diagrams.
Ability to safely use a digital multimeter and inspect equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical components including bearings, belts, gears, pumps, and drives.
Diagnose electrical problems with a multimeter and verify wiring.
Read voltage, continuity, and test fuses; replace sensors and relays as directed.
Follow LOTO procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Support reliability improvements and respond to breakdowns promptly.
