UFP Industries in Stanfield, NC seeks a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and tools, and assist the Maintenance Department with repairs.

Requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of machine repair experience, with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and control systems, welding, and safety practices. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of maintenance machine repair experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, plus welding.
• Familiarity with safety rules and regulatory requirements.
• Hazardous waste and hazardous material handling knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment, tools, and building.
• Assist in repairing woodworking machinery, infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools, and forklifts per manuals and specs.
• Order supplies and parts as needed.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Comply with safety rules and procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Prepare various reports as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
