Job summary

AAON in Tulsa, OK is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The role supports safe, efficient production and aligns with continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work with production staff and maintenance teams to keep equipment reliable, read blueprints and manuals, and document maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
• Technical training or associate degree in related discipline preferred.
• Journeyman or similar certification preferred.
• Experience with CMMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems per schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing failures and implement corrective actions to restore production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Support installations, upgrades, and facility improvements.
• Contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
