Job summary
Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions (MMS) in East Peoria, IL seeks a Maintenance Technician I on 2nd shift to support tractor testing and production equipment. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of complex systems.
Requirements include 3+ years in maintenance or industrial troubleshooting, experience with electrical and control systems, PLCs and sensors, and strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance, electrical, controls, or industrial troubleshooting experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and control systems.
- Knowledge of sensors, instrumentation, PLCs, and automated equipment preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and system upgrades on tractor test cells and other production‑critical equipment.
- Maintain equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and ensure safe, efficient operations.
