Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions in Shawnee, OK is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for the second shift to repair and maintain production equipment across the plant.

The role focuses on troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, reading schematics, and performing basic maintenance tasks with proper safety practices. 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, Monday–Friday, on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read electronic/hydraulic drawings and blueprints to diagnose problems.
• Experience reading precision measuring instruments is a plus.
• Occasional standing, bending, and working in maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems under supervision.
• Test machinery operation and diagnose malfunctions using appropriate tools.
• Analyze machine error messages and operator input to identify root causes.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system components.
• Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and document tasks and reports.

Danfoss in Shawnee, Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team.The Maintenance Technician provides support to Plant Operations in repairing and maintaining production equipment throughout the plant

This is a 2nd Shift position, with work hours are 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems to the faulty component under the instruction of the Maintenance Manager.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment under the instruction of the Maintenance manager.
• Analyze machine error messages and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot and repair the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components of production equipment.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Follow all Safety Rules, including PPE and OSHA
• Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
• Complete all required reporting and documentation.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Two (2) years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical or electronic systems a preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electronic/ hydraulic drawings, schematics, and engineering blueprints to determine problem root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, Levels, and Lasers are a plus.
• Physically capable of prolonged standing and working in positions that require bending and stretching whileperforming maintenance tasks
• Strong Computer Skills
• Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation
• All other duties as assigned
