Danfoss Power Solutions in Easley, SC is hiring a 2nd shift Assembler to manage the full assembly process in a designated cell from setup to testing. A $1.50 shift premium is offered.

The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 2nd shift Assembler to oversee the complete assembly process within a designated cell, from initial setup through final testing. Danfoss offers 2nd shift premium of $1.50.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Load and position valves into assembly fixtures with precision. Transport valves to designated workstations efficiently.
• Ensure production targets are consistently achieved. Immediately notify the supervisor of any assembly supply shortages.
• Carefully interpret and adhere to instructions from engineering blueprints, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders.
• Skillfully operate assembly and torque tools. Inspect defective valves and conduct repairs to meet required specifications.

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Candidates should demonstrate basic math proficiency and strong reading and writing skills.
• The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. good motor skills are essential.
• Mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes are necessary. Experience with TPM and SMED methodologies is preferred.
