Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for the 1st shift in South Deerfield, MA.

You will maintain production equipment and facility systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure manufacturing success. The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, MIG welding and basic machining ability, and you must provide your own basic tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and facility systems.
• Intermediate MIG welding and basic machining experience.
• Must own basic maintenance tools and be able to participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and building maintenance issues.
• Complete repairs involving electrical systems, piping, welding, machining, carpentry, and general facility maintenance.
• Install/maintain production equipment and building infrastructure including compressed air and water lines.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety procedures and Pelican quality standards.
