Pelican Products in South Deerfield, MA, seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician to keep manufacturing equipment and facility systems running safely and reliably. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across PLC-controlled machinery and CNC equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of electro-mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Massachusetts State Journeyman Electrical License.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Intermediate PLC knowledge and computer-controlled equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and upgrade electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems including drives, controllers, HVAC, and CNC machines.
• Use PLCs to troubleshoot machine controls and network communication.
• Read and update electrical schematics to support repairs and projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance to identify worn parts and potential failures.
