Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to support villa care and guest experiences at MVW properties. You will perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and respond to repair requests to keep guest spaces safe and welcoming.

In this full-time role, you must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift, weekends and holidays, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow safety procedures while delivering excellent service to owners and guests.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Shift: 1st/2nd; must be available weekends and holidays.
• Full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Perform Villa Care preventive maintenance tasks such as painting and basic repairs.
• Replace lightbulbs and check appliance/HVAC readings.
• Attend to guest repair requests and coordinate with guests.
• Maintain basic engineering-related inventory and participate in safety training.
• Uphold guest experience and company standards; greet guests professionally and contribute to team goals.

As a Maintenance Technician I, a typical day will include: Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned. (i.e. Basic Painting; Basic Repairs such as replacing lightbulbs. Performs temperature readings on appliances/HVAC, etc.) Performs minor building repairs as assigned. Responds and attends to guest repair requests. Performs general engineering-related inventory duties. Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable. Guest Experience and Company Standards Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs. Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly. Contribute to team goals. Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Maintenance Technician I at MVW: Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days. Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance. Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
