Qualifications

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, including LOTO/TO and other policies.
• Maintain and repair plant equipment, ensuring work orders are completed on schedule.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize production disruptions.
• Assist with planning and installation of new equipment and capital projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Accurately document completed work, system updates, and process improvements.
• Perform welding and other hot work as needed.
• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Technician I supports the maintenance, installation, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their technical skills while working in a fast-paced industrial environment under experienced supervision.

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, including LOTO/TO (LOTOTO), confined space, and company policies
• Maintain and repair plant equipment, ensuring work orders are completed on schedule
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize production disruptions
• Assist with planning and installation of new equipment and capital projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Accurately document completed work, system updates, and process improvements
• Perform welding and other hot work as needed
• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) knowledge
• Forklift and warehouse experience
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance systems
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Basic math skills (fractions, geometry)
