Job summary

Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure building readiness, stock replenishment, and routine upkeep for a smooth guest experience. The role supports daily operations, housekeeping coordination, and overall property presentation.

The position emphasizes safety, timely tasks, and teamwork within a dynamic hospitality environment, with full-time hours and on-site responsibilities at the Smoky Mountain location.

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow basic written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet; push/pull up to 100 lbs; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Open up the building each morning and ensure readiness for staff and guests.
  • Replenish stocked items and maintain supplies in bathrooms and refreshment stations.
  • Perform maintenance duties: replace bulbs, air filters and maintain outside areas.

Responsibilities
  • Opening up the building each morning
    • Unlocking all doors, ensuring the building is ready for team members reporting to work and guest arrival
    • Ensuring all areas have been properly cleaned and all trash removed.
    • Light the torches
  • Replenishing Stocked Items
    • Ensure all bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper and paper towels
    • Ensure coffee and creamer machines are stocked
    • Changes out Soda Syrup boxes and CO2 tanks for the soda machine
    • Fill refreshment stations with condiments, snacks, cups, lids
    • Managing Perishable Stock items to minimize loss while ensuring we have ample supply to meet business needs
    • Make popcorn multiple times throughout the day for guests and clean the machine at the EOB
    • Clean the soda machine EOB each day
    • Transports Stock items when necessary to other locations
    • Works with Admin Team on ordering/receiving inventory
  • Maintenance Items
    • Replace light bulbs
    • Replace air filters
    • Ensures all outside areas are free from debris and maintained for appearance.
      • Leaf blowing / removal
      • Pulling weeds
      • Cleaning the parking lot and surrounding landscaping areas
      • Shoveling snow or salting when necessary
  • Day Porting
    • Ensure bathrooms are maintained throughout the day
    • Trash removal during the day
    • Sweeping/Cleaning floors as necessary throughout the day to ensure the building is clean for business
  • Other departmental support items, as required by Leadership
Qualifications

  • Ability to follow basic written and verbal directions, climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs. lift/carry up to 50 lbs. grasp, stoop, reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-3 years of related experience
