Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician I for our St. Petersburg, FL community. You will perform daily repairs, prepare units for occupancy, and manage service requests while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting), a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently. Join a team focused on quality housing and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance/repair experience or Groundskeeper experience.
• Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
• Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines.
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act.
• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment.
• Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner.
• Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service.
• Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development.
• Assist in property preventative maintenance plan.
• Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
• Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime.

Skills & Certifications

• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license strongly preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
