Life Care Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician I at Sagewood in the NE Phoenix valley. This full-time role covers preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and building repairs while engaging with residents daily.
The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, starting pay $21.00/hr, and a comprehensive benefits package. Ideal candidates have proven maintenance experience, basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications

- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
- Working knowledge of tools and devices.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all aspects of the physical plant, including preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
- Perform plumbing repairs and changes of building equipment.
- Ensure safety and quality while completing work orders and interacting with residents.

- Work as a team member in a structured working environment.
- Complete work on time and done right.
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems, general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) desired
Moderate to heavy physical effort; may be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain); work in area with high voltage electricity, hazardous equipment and moving parts; work on roof top and other high places; ability to set up and climb ladders safely with tools and equipment necessary for assigned work; must be able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to walk, stand and stoop for an extended period of time (over 80% of the time); exposure to a variety of chemicals and dust daily; may be exposed to the HBV and HIV viruses.
