Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep property buildings and grounds in top condition. Responsibilities include daily repairs, vacant unit prep, inventory management, and safety compliance.

On-call availability and a professional appearance are required. The role requires HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, plus handyman experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Ability to operate hand tools including power tools.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of property and vacant units preparation.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand for tasks.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances to supervisor.
• Maintain professional appearance and property uniform.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Handle lock-outs from evictions and 24-hour service requests.
