Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep property buildings and grounds and prepare vacant units for occupancy. The role supports daily repairs, safety compliance, and on-call responsiveness within a dynamic, people-focused team.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with tools, HVAC/plumbing/electrical basics, and strong communication. AMC offers full-time benefits and a path for career growth within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Effective communication with residents and team members.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience in property maintenance/handyman work.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacancy prep.
• Maintain and inventory supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tools are on hand and in good condition.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and property uniform.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at end of day.
• Handle snow/ice removal as needed.
• Respond to eviction-related lock-outs and 24-hour service requests.
