Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep buildings and grounds in good repair and to prepare vacant units for occupancy.

Responsibilities include daily repairs, inventory management, tool readiness, OSHA compliance, on-call response, snow removal, and securing maintenance areas. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus handyman experience, is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with a range of hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience in general property maintenance/handyman work.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant unit preparation.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and ensure needed tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and property uniforms.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis and secure maintenance shops daily.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary and respond to 24-hour service requests.
• Handle lock-outs resulting from evictions and related incidents.
