Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair property buildings and grounds, ensuring vacant units are prepared promptly for occupancy. The role requires operating tools, following safety policies, and providing 24/7 on-call service in a professional manner.

Responsibilities include daily repairs, inventory control, tool readiness, and reporting any issues. Benefits and advancement opportunities are provided by AMC.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge
• Plumbing and electrical knowledge
• Property maintenance/handyman experience
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain professional appearance and property uniform
• Follow OSHA standards and safety policies at all times
• Be available for on-call work
• Secure maintenance shop at close of day
• Remove snow and ice as necessary
• Handle lock-outs related to evictions and respond 24/7 to service requests
