Peabody Properties, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Roxbury, MA. The role supports the Service Manager and tackles maintenance needs to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years in facilities maintenance, strong English communication, solid computer skills, and reliable transportation. On-call coverage after hours is required.

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at a apartment community in Roxbury, MA.

The Maintenance Technicians role requires effective and careful evaluation in response to a broad range of maintenance needs to assist the Service Manager with the efficient operation of property.

• Cleaning
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the buildings common areas and other assigned areas;
• Maintains exterior grounds according to company standards.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field with a minimum of 3 years and related job experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both written and verbal;
• Solid computer skills;
• Excellent customer service skills a must;
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal;
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter;
• Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field;
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays;
• Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Reliable vehicle needed to perform essential duties of the position.

Compensation and Benefits
