Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across the property. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems, address resident requests promptly, and conduct proactive inspections to keep equipment in top condition.

You will collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize work orders and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs experience.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring systems are in good working order.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.
• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs proactively.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize work orders.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.
• Participate in an on-call rotation; weekend work as needed.
• Perform snow and ice removal as required.
