Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Marquee in Cleveland Heights, OH. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems in excellent working condition.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, addressing resident requests promptly, inspections, safety compliance, and assisting with turnovers to ensure units are move-in ready. On-call rotations and occasional weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Team player who communicates effectively and works well with others.
• Detail-oriented with pride in high-quality work.
• Proactive and able to solve problems with practical solutions.
• Dependable and flexible for after-hours or weekend emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.
• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
• Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.
• Perform snow and ice removal.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies. Weekend work is required as needed.
• Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.
