Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Stella in Indianapolis, IN. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and coordinate with the team to address resident requests.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; HVAC/EPA certifications are a plus. You must be dependable, proactive, and able to handle after-hours emergencies and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a multifamily maintenance role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on property systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related systems as needed.
• Address resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct property inspections and proactively identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and move-ins; respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend work as required; assist with snow/ice removal.
