Job summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Manager in preserving safe, secure, and comfortable living environments for residents and staff. You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks while delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to safety policies.

Responsibilities include completing preventive maintenance, addressing work orders, and coordinating with the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred
• One-year experience or training in carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing and cleaning
• Proven knowledge and application of codes, laws, and regulations
• Must pass background investigation and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC repairs and preventive maintenance on residential systems.
• Perform basic electrical repairs, light plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Assist with painting, flooring, and general refurbishment work.
• Respond to work orders and resident concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety policies are followed at all times.
