Job summary

Peak Living seeks a Maintenance Technician to bring units to market-ready condition across our communities. Under the Service Manager, you will perform make-ready tasks, complete work orders, and assist with building and equipment upkeep.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of property maintenance experience, and strong English communication. EPA/CPO certifications are a plus; weekend or after-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of general maintenance experience in property management.
• EPA and CPO certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must communicate in English.

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance in property management environment.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (i.e., electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.)
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
