Job summary

Peak Living in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team under the Service Manager, responsible for bringing units up to market-ready condition according to Peak Living standards.

Hours vary by community and may require weekends and after-hours emergency services. Responsibilities include make-ready maintenance, completing work orders, assisting with building and common area maintenance, and preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in property management.
• Boiler experience preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; English required.

Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance in property management environment.
• Boiler experience preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (i.e., electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.).
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
