Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our managed communities. You will perform make-ready tasks, handle work orders, and assist with building and preventive maintenance to meet Peak Living standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience in property management, with strong English communication and basic trade skills in electrical, plumbing, or appliance repair. Weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in property management.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, appliance repair).
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance in property management environment.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (i.e., electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.)

• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
