Job summary

Wasatch Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service apartment communities. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs across units and common areas, respond to resident requests quickly, and diagnose a range of issues from plumbing to electrical and carpentry.

Qualifications

At Wasatch Property Management, our Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in ensuring resident satisfaction across our apartment communities. They handle everything from HVAC systems to cosmetic enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas.
• Respond to resident service requests within less than 3 hours.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues.
• Consistently exemplify the Wasatch brand and embody an owner's mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on general maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience in maintaining or repairing electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, heating and air systems, and pools.
• Detail‑oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Superior customer‑service skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on‑call for after‑hours emergencies.

Benefits and Pay

Pay rate: $17.50 – $23.68 per hour, hourly, plus quarterly bonus potential.
