Job summary

Alpine Silica in Monahans, TX seeks a skilled maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment in a heavy industrial setting. You will perform regular preventative maintenance and support on-call maintenance to keep the plant running smoothly.

The role requires reading manuals, diagnosing problems, replacing parts, and ensuring compliance with MSHA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must perform duties safely and in accordance with site rules.
• Strong welding, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
• Able to work 8–16 hour shifts, weekends, overtime and holidays as needed.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test adjustments.
• Participate in on-call maintenance and report anomalies to supervision.
• Maintain compliance with MSHA regulations and safety standards.
