Imperial Healthcare Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, clean, and operating smoothly. The role is full-time with an 8AM-5PM shift, offering stability and a collaborative work environment.

You will perform routine maintenance, manage work orders, and inspect HVAC, lighting, and safety systems. The ideal candidate has basic repair knowledge and can lift and move items as needed in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods is required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs is preferred.
• Previous maintenance or facility experience is preferred.
• Safe use of hand and power tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC, lighting, and safety systems.
• Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and facility projects.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs.
• Follow OSHA, safety, and infection control guidelines.
