Job summary

CBRE Maintenance Technician position involves maintaining small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems, performing preventive maintenance and repairs, and supporting facility operations across multiple building services.

The role requires basic carpentry, electrical and mechanical aptitude, and strong collaboration with teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and occupant comfort. Training is provided under supervision.

Qualifications

• Meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, stairs/ladders) and able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for code and safety compliance.
• Move, install, and set up office furniture and equipment.
