Job summary

CBRE Maintenance Technician role focused on maintaining small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. This position provides preventive maintenance, repairs, and support for energy management, under close supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years’ related experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to climb stairs/ladders.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Execute defined duties and tasks under supervision and guidance.
